More About "65 Ways" This book has something for everyone, including children, teens and pets, from top athletes to patients with serious illness, from the relatively healthy person who wants to prevent poor health in the future, to anyone who wants an immune system booster, more energy and a greater sense of well-being. Learn how mangosteen juice can become a favorite household remedy and family friend!
“This tastes too good to be good for you,” I said to myself after trying mangosteen juice for the first time. Mangosteen is medicinal tropical fruit new to the Western marketplace, but known to traditional Asian healers for centuries. My disbelief persisted until I read pages of testimonials of sincere, grateful people who were enjoying results from mangosteen after nothing else had helped them. Some of these results were miraculous and their scope was mind-boggling. People were being helped with acute and long-standing conditions, systemic and topical ailments, as well as incurable diseases and common malaise. Now I just had to find out: How could something that tasted so good be so good for you? My answer unfolded as I studied recent publications and internet articles on mangosteen. My favorite is a booklet by J. Frederic Templeman, M.D., entitled, Mangosteen The X-Factor. This booklet clearly summarizes the science behind mangosteen. Dr. Templeman explains that mangosteen contains a variety of “phytoceuticals” (plant-based substances with medicinal potential that I like to call “healing compounds”). These healing compounds have been widely studied by medical and pharmacological researchers who have found solid evidence to support the personal experiences of mangosteen users. Click here for a website designed for doctors: www.mangosteenmd.com. Four of the many significant healing compounds of mangosteen include: polysaccharides, quinones, stilbenes, and xanthones (at least two dozen xanthones are found in mangosteen). · Polysaccharides have anti-cancer and anti-bacterial effects. · Quinones have cancer-fighting properties and are strong free radical inhibitors.
·
Stilbenes, which are anti-fungal compounds, seem to be helpful for
cancer and heart disease · And finally, the highly active xanthones, which seem to be the most exciting class of healing compounds in mangosteen, have anti-viral, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-oxidant, anti-depressant, anti-inflammatory, anti-histaminic, and anti-ulcer effects. I should add that, according to Dr. Templeman, Mangosteen also contains nutrients essential for our diet. These nutrients include potassium, calcium, phosphorous, iron, and vitamins B1, B2, B6, and vitamin C. Talk about a pharmacy in a bottle! Yet these benefits are meaningless unless you can enjoy them yourself. I have always believed in the value and necessity of personal investigation—especially when deciding whether to add something healthful to your diet or lifestyle. So first read about mangosteen and then try some. Use this book to find ways to use mangosteen that best suit your condition and to make your mangosteen experience as positive and pleasant as possible. Let your personal evaluation speak for itself. Discover how something that tastes so good can, indeed, be good for you.
